Bectu South Wales Freelance Branch AGM 2026
You are cordially invited to attend the Bectu South Wales Freelance Branch AGM on Tuesday 10th February 2026 at Wolf Studios, Building 1, Glass Avenue, Cardiff, CF24 5EN from 19:00 - 22:00
Timetable:
Branch Committee Meeting 18:15 - 19:00 for anyone interested in joining the Committee
AGM and Election of 2026 Committee Members 19:00 in Whoniverse Read Through Room.
This will be followed by presentations by Bectu Officials. Wolf Studios and Screen Alliance Wales.
Studio Tours:
Dependent on the number of attendees there will then be one or two consecutive tours of Wolf Studios in Groups starting at approximately 20:00
NB This will include a rare opportunity to walk on the TARDIS set in Studio 6.
Please note attendees will probably be asked to sign NDA if they want to visit the TARDIS Set Studio.
Cameras and Phones will not be allowed to be used n that Studio, but a Photographer will be present to get individual and group shots.
Refreshments:
Refreshments will be available in one, or two, sittings starting at 20:00 so you won't lose out by going on a Tour.
N.B.The AGM will be held in a room on the First Floor of the Studios, but will be fully accessible via a lift. If attendees need any additional assistance please let me know.
Activities:
This will be your chance to talk to Bectu Officials and other members and learn about the activities of Bectu in Wales. All positions on the Committee are open for members to participate in or apply to take on. N.B. We appreciate that a commitment to support the Union Branch is not easy timewise for everyone, so we currently have some shared roles on the Committee.
Transport:
NB for those without Transport of their own to get to Wolf Studios there is a Mini-Shuttle Bus service run by Bad Wolf Wales that leaves from Cardiff Central Station at 17:20, 17:50,18.20 and 18:50 that takes about 15 minutes to make the trip from the Train Station. The Shuttle Bus is Black with clear Wolf Studios markings on it.
